Synopsis 

Magical Balance explores the internal and external forces which shape our reality. The blurred lines between the real and the imaginary, between sanity and insanity, dreams and memories.

 

Mica, a single mum and writer, escapes the depressing reality of a world gone crazy by losing herself in Amy and Nina's stories.  More than mere characters, they are constantly with her, challenging her not to give up on her dreams.  Not to give up on their stories or the magic that is present in the world.

 

Over the course of one day these three women present different answers to the same questions; What happens when we die?  What happens when hope dies?  Who writes the story of our life? What is magic?

 

When they finally come together as one, they create a precariously magical balance in which all three can continue to exist.
